As per the NOHA, all volunteers helping with BRMHA must complete the required courses for the position they are volunteering. The information sheet highlighting these courses can be found at the link below. For any courses that require a fee, BRMHA will reimburse if receipts are forwarded to our treasurer ([email protected]), volunteers must be attached to a team in order for courses to be covered and courses must reflect the necessary requirements for the team in which they are volunteering. In addition, volunteers must have an up to date Criminal Records Check (needs to be updated every 3 years). To apply for a records check you can click on this link -OPP Record Check. BRMHA provides a letter to be submitted to the OPP, this letter ensures that you are a BRMHA volunteer and therefore no cost for the check, please contact Stephanie Collins ([email protected]) to obtain the volunteer letter.

All required courses must be completed by October 10th to ensure that team rosters can be approved.  For any coaching clinics happening after this date, as long as you’ve signed up for the required course approval can still occur.
